  • Zero to One for Life Insurance: Planned and executed the entire analytics capability for life insurance. Defined data structure, right metrics and reports bearing in mind the growth drivers of stakeholder of different functions. Worked with the PMs and the engineering team to ensure that we tracked the right metrics on D0; Successfully moved to production within 2 weeks of launch thereafter. Moreover, Conceptualized and built a comprehensive dashboard to investigate the efficiency of outbound calling (outsourced). Developed a cost model with the product management team and corresponded with the external vendors for changes in the SOPs of the system, driving up efficiency by ~25%
  • Conversion rate optimization of Visit to Payment journey (V2P funnel): Worked on the project of problem identification in the product journey of life insurance by analyzing user behavior and drop off patterns on product analytics tools like Amplitude. Performed Voice of Customer (VOC) analysis using LLM models to identify customer issues, grouped them into major themes and recommended adjustments in the journey or product features. This process revealed customer cohorts with the potential for up to a 30% improvement in conversion rates 
  • Group health insurance: Developed a novel pricing approach for group insurance products and established corresponding benchmarks to effectively bring down the loss ratio by 30 percentage points, in conjunction with operational changes. 
  • Retail health insurance: Shouldered portfolio management of the business on an ongoing basis through cohort identification, for underwriting done using unconventional parameters and suggesting changes to enhance profitability. Regularly performed ad hoc analyses for better pricing of products, greater buying experience, claim satisfaction, etc. Regularly carried out fraud investigation and suggested underwriting and process changes to control incorrect claim payouts, enhancing profitability
  • Identified levers of improvement in growth drivers of functional teams through data and providing recommendations accordingly
