• Greenfield Program Delivery: Developed the commercial business case for a $13,000M capital program in India’s eastern deepwater frontier. Coordinated cross-functional teams from scratch to secure Board approval for 3 exploration locations, leading to a successful gas discovery valued at $95M.
• Capital Allocation & Negotiation: Secured Board approval for 5 development projects worth ~$6,500M in total lifecycle capital across two offshore assets (~100 MMToE in-place volume) through commercial evaluation and cross-functional negotiations.
• Strategic Project De-risking: Led the cross-functional re-evaluation of a 493 sq. km offshore block in the KG Basin, identifying 7 new investment opportunities (15.75 BCM gas in-place) and building the case for a strategic exit that saved $200M.
• Financial Risk Modeling: Designed price-sensitivity, cost-variation, and risk-scenario analyses across commodity price bands, providing quantified decision frameworks for board-level investment and divestment choices.
• Joint Venture & Alliance Management: Served as ONGC’s core operational interface with ExxonMobil under a strategic MoU for deep-water collaboration. Conducted benchmarking discussions with Shell, and coordinated joint evaluations and data-exchange workflows with Vedanta, BP, and GSPC.

Geologist

• Resource Monetization: Led a team in opportunity identification and resource assessment across six mature onshore fields (including a joint-venture asset), identifying ~7 MMT in-place oil and ~11 BCM in-place gas, contributing to ~1.5 MMT recoverable oil and 3 BCM recoverable gas, representing $1,200M in projected gross revenue.
• Asset Value Recovery: Formulated and led a team to re-evaluate overlooked zones in legacy assets following regulatory changes (TNPAZD Act, 2020). Identified 3 MMT oil and 5 BCM gas within 6 months, unlocking ~$400M+ in incremental asset value.
• Real-time Operational Control: Maintained control-room operations and provided real-time operational support during high-pressure drilling campaigns, interpreting live data to guide technical decisions during pandemic-related staffing constraints.
• Resource & Supply Chain Allocation: Coordinated procurement planning and inter-asset resource allocation across simultaneous exploration campaigns, ensuring project timelines aligned with regulatory deadlines.
• Investment Appraisal: Assessed viability and risk across 30+ investment opportunities through data-driven analysis, supporting risk-weighted capital prioritization across competing exploration proposals.
