• Manager - Engineering, Operations

  • Served as the Pillar-Lead of the Core Team for developing a 3-year operational strategy for the unit, aimed at achieving increased capaity and productivity using the Hoshin Kanri management model.
  • Led the Asset Care Pillar, implementing OWS on Manager-Model Line & LWE methods in its manufacturing excellence (PRIME) journey leading to an improvement in overall plant score.
  • Delivered infrastructural projects like UPS deployment with integrated power distribution system for critical loads – leading to an OEE increase of 1.2% increase and productivity related savings of INR 2.5 – 3.5 Lacs per annum; spearheaded the revamp of office infrastructure including deployment/revamp of IT/OT infrastructure, a project worth INR 1.5 Cr.
  • Served as the additional Safety In-Charge for the unit and led projects like Electrical Gap Assessment Drive, Man-Machine Workflow Segregation to improve the Safety Index of the unit.
  • Spearheaded the revamp of office infrastructure, (Project Val ~INR 1.5 Cr) with detailed design of civil, electrical and firefighting and HVAC systems and deployment/revamp of IT/OT infrastructure and systems at unit.

• Assistant Manager - Engineering, Operations

  • Delivered state-of-the-art Greenfield manufacturing facility at Odisha, a project worth INR 70 Cr. aimed at adding capacity as per agreed project cost and timeline.
  • Delivered BoP projects including system & capacity design; led the deployment of IT/OT systems and modernistic office infrastructure (project value ~INR 1.08 Cr) as a part of the facility development.
  • Spearheaded seamless start-up and quick stabilization, commissioning all SKUs by Sep’23 & delivering OEE of 66.25% by Mar’24; planned phase-wise start-up for 2-shift operations with optimized line manning and SKU planning.
  • Steered the stabilization of NPI on 240BPM auto-line shifting from 120BPM semi-auto line consequently catering to a raise in overall demand of 25% through capacity utilization of the existing facility.
  • Led ‘Cost & Efficiency’ projects at unit on labour productivity (Deployment of multitrack and EBIs, OSC Reuse conveyors) and energy efficiency (VRF zoning, optimizing Street Light operation) to control loads and reduce consumption.
  • Led on-site digitization projects - digital gate control systems, IIOT monitoring, asset care, and digital dashboards and supported the implementation of Paperless Warehouse at unit.

• Executive - Maintenance, Operations

  • Spearheaded the on-time delivery of 2 projects – a Brownfield Facility for adding capacity (project value ~INR 66.7 Lacs) & an External Warehouse for 15.33% increased inventory capacity (project value ~INR 30.7 Lacs) to maximize production capacity utilization and cater to 25% hike in market demand.
  • Delivered CapEx projects worth INR 1.1 Cr leading to improvement in Site Hygiene Index by 5% as targeted and Site Safety Index by 25% and a reduction in first aid cases by 60% during FY21.
  • Collaborated with multiple stakeholders to ensure quick turnaround and restoration of unit operation in the aftermath of cyclone FANI.
  • Implemented maintenance best practices (SMED, racking systems) ensuring reduced downtime and changeover times resulting in OEE by 12.07% & productivity by 10.95% in FY19.
