  • For Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, as a subject matter expert, assisted in formulating and implementing automotive regulations including battery standards for EVs, implementation of AIS 142, Bharat NCAP etc., and proposed roadmap for future regulations
  • Formulated the proposals for incentive schemes having a total budget of ~INR 500 crores (200 + 300) for retrofitting CNG and EV (Electric Vehicle) kits in State Transport buses
  • Designed the organization structure and the funding mechanism of Bharat NCAP (New Car Assessment Programme) and coordinated with various stakeholders (including Global NCAP, UK) for the successful end-to-end implementation of NCAP in India, a milestone for the Indian automotive industry
  • For a global auto OEM scouted 50+ futuristic technologies and proposed 30+ technologies for implementation in new models; conducted a workshop and 20+ meetings to bring together the senior management of the OEM and the technology suppliers for potential technology partnerships
